Collagraphs
Original prints designed and executed by Jackie Curtis produced from blocks formed from a collage of textured materials. They are also sometimes known as collage prints as they are effectively a print from a collage of materials.

The Backs is a limited edition collagraph of the backs of the houses on Johnstone Street Bath
Bath Abbey
Original limited edition collagraph print of Bath Abbey. Much of the detail is drawn into glue with scrim, gauze and lace pushed into the glue to give texture. The windows are seperate pieces placed into the main block so that the picture is printed as a single block.
Muchelney Abbey
Large Collagraph of Muchelney Abbey. Original print from limited editionThe partially filled in arches of the abbey were ideal for this technique. There are alsorts of fabrics and cloth used to create the block. The detail of the windows have been drawn into glue

The original print was too large for my press so it was produced on the drive with my neighbour's garden roller. Full size print also available please contact me for more info.
